Kyrgyzstan Youth Cultural Service-learning Study Tour

Objectives and Background

The Kyrgyzstan Youth Cultural Service Learning Study Tour is themed "Loving Oneself and Others," aiming to promote cultural exchange between the youth of Hong Kong and Kyrgyzstan under the "Belt and Road" initiative. Through various activities, the program provides a platform for young people from both regions to learn about each other's languages, cultures, and social development. Participants will lead service learning exchange activities, such as language exchanges, music exchanges, emotional card workshops, and craft activities, for understanding each other, strengthening friendships, recognizing their own emotional needs, and learning to love themselves and others. Additionally, the tour plans to arrange visits to local organizations and universities to gain insights into the development of youth work in the region. Before departure, pre-trip training workshops will be held to foster team spirit, understand the historical and cultural contexts of both regions, and provide training related to mental health awareness.
